Sunday, January 24
The Martin Luther King Day celebration will
continue as Central welcomes Rev. Jesse L.
Jackson, Sr. as its guest preacher at the 10 a.m.
service, followed by a 4 p.m. seminar
presented by the Rainbow/PUSH Coalition.

Sunday, February 14
Celebration of African American History
Month.Rev. Otis Moss. Also, the film series
continues with a 2 p.m. screening of
"Munyurangabo" at the Detroit Film Theater
at the Detroit Institute of Arts.

Sunday, March 7
Bishop Linda Lee, former bishop of the
Michigan Area and former Associate Pastor of
Central, will preach at the 10 a.m. service.

Sunday, March 14
Ange Smith & Friends in Concert. Smith, a
member of Central, is well known as singer in
the local jazz scene. Proceeds from this
concert support the U.S. Social Forum to be
held at Cobo Center in June 2010.
